Experience and Proven Sales Record

There is no substitute for real sales experience. It comes with knowledge, insight, and advice on how to avoid or resolve pitfalls which could otherwise result in delays or added costs. Such agent will provide the correct advice based on actual sales and price trends in the suburb, and on how to prepare the property for the market. Be sure to ask how long the agent has been in the area, and for a list of their sales.

Honest Advice and Accurate Price Recommendation

An experienced agent will provide honest advice which might be difficult to hear, but will ultimately result in a successful sale and smooth transaction. Knowing the area, what buyers look for, what other properties are on the market, and recommending accurate pricing, are vital to a successful sale. Be wary of agents who make high price promises, you could end up not getting a buyer, or selling for less.

A multi-faceted marketing plan should aim to attract the right buyer with a campaign which includes strong online, digital and social media marketing, and regular feedback.
