We are delighted to share with you that the Seeff Property Group celebrates a remarkable 60-years of market leadership and innovation!
Seeff is the oldest and most established, and is today one of the top real estate brands in Africa, and now also with an office in Dubai! It started with a small office opened in Wynberg in 1964 by Geoffrey Seeff - father of the current chairman, Samuel Seeff - and Seeff now has a network of some 1200 agents and 200 offices.
Seeff was the first real estate company to open multiple branches, first in the Cape and expanding to Gauteng in 1984, and KZN in 1994. From 2002, Seeff expanded internationally with branches in Zimbabwe, Botswana, Mauritius, Namibia, Zambia, eSwatini, Malawi, DRC, and recently Dubai.
Seeff founder, Geoffrey Seeff pioneered the professionalisation of estate agents with the first training and certification, and setting up of the first industry board. From there, Seeff developed a rock sturdy reputation of trust, family values, service and innovation which continue to drive the brand forward.
Under the leadership of current chairman, Samuel Seeff, the company expanded and raised the profile of South African property, paving the way for many to follow. Seeff continues to pioneer many industry firsts, from the first bond originator in 1999 (which is today "ooba"), and by 2010, the first SETA-accredited estate agent training academy.
Seeff is also a pioneer in real estate marketing, and was the first to adopt integrated Google platforms and today uses the latest digital marketing and PropTech to power our property solutions. We have strong industry partnerships, from the banks and mortgage origination, to legal, back-office and tech to ensure comprehensive client solutions.
Seeff is also synonymous with some of the highest profile sales and prices achieved in South Africa including some of the first R20 million-plus sales and achieving the first two sales above R100 million on Cape Town's exclusive Atlantic Seaboard. We are also a pioneer of development sales, achieving billions of Rands for our clients.
