Seeff Tokai scoops top Agent Award

Category News

THANK YOU TOKAI!

I am delighted to have been awarded a Lifetime Achiever Award and to be named as winner in the Solitaire Sales category for the highest number of sales, in the Southern Region at the Seeff National Agent Awards this month.

These awards are only achieved due to your wonderful support, and the trust that you have put in me, knowing that I will always do my utmost to achieve the highest price in the shortest period possible for you, my clients.

 Now, down to business...

A key emerging trend from the Covid Lockdowns has been a move back to the suburbs as buyers look for a better quality lifestyle with work from home possibilities. Tokai is a suburb which offers the best of both worlds - a laid-back suburban lifestyle with close proximity to great amenities, and top schools as well as easy access to the M3.  It is one of the areas which continues to buck the trend, with much activity, despite the economic and Pandemic-related challenges.

That being said, while there is plenty of movement in this buyers market, it remains price related. PropStats data shows that sellers often have to settle for 7%-10% (and more in some cases) below their asking prices depending on the price band. It is very important to get the marketing price correct when a property is first launched on the market.

Working with a skilled area specialist is often the difference between achieving a sale, or your property remaining on the market, unsold.

Our thoughts and well wishes also go to UCT, the students and others who have been affected by the recent devastating fires. A reminder that time is always of the essence. If you spot anything out of place including anything burning, take appropriate action immediately. For fires, contact 107 from your mobile or call 021 480 7700.
